I've often joked "I never had a closet to come out of!" After I experienced the eye open moment of clarity with the defeat of CA prop 8 and AZ's prop 102 in the 2008 elections and the response from diverse communities - I began to do a great deal of soul searching about how I "felt" and what did I believe to be true for me. I became drawn into all the "happenings," and was compelled to engage in standing for civil, human and equal rights. What i began to witness though was something that felt counter-intuitive for me personally. I couldn't rationalize or justify standing for human, equal and civil rights and in turn fighting against someone or something else.

Within me I had an attitude that felt different and sounded different then the prominent resounding message of "we need gay marriage."  During this time someone sent me this link on facebook. Upon hearing this message I began jumping up and down exclaiming "Yes!!! that is what I've been wanting - trying - attempting to articulate!"

This message will resonate with some of you and others it will not. It is all good - More than 6 billion people roam the earth today and I believe there are 6 billion approaches to any particular perceived obstacle! - This short video represents a path that resonates with me and my personal philosophy!
